Funders & Partners
Build capacity for long-term change in youth employment and education attainment. With youth employment numbers nearing historic lows it is paramount that today’s youth develop skills that employers are looking for. In order to prepare more youth for career success we are working with our funders to embed our career readiness and soft-skills curriculum within high schools and community partners.
Support at Work!
Generous support from The Cummings Foundation and The Boston Foundation provided funding for high schools students in Boston, Malden and Lowell to take part in the Signal Success curriculum. Students across four different sites experienced classroom instruction alongside part-time jobs and internships. Participants learned communication and collaboration skills, identified their skills and interests, and developed professional resumes and career and education plans, all while gaining experience in government, healthcare, retail and youth services fields.
